IELTS Vocabulary: Narrow It Down!
26 Nov 2014 admin
It is believed that there are, at the very least, a quarter of a million distinct English words in a dictionary. That’s quite a number and pressuring yourself to knowing all of it can be overwhelming and may not be that helpful at all. Remember that learning new words also requires integration, repetition and time to finally arrive at using them meaningfully. It’s just not going to work, specifically when the clock is ticking down against your favor. So, stop cramming up random words from random resources into your head. Here’s a partial list of the most common topics in IELTS.
- Climate change
- University education
- The environment
